This Oxfordshire Open Data Service website, its services and the data supplied via its APIs (“the Website”) are operated and controlled by Oxfordshire County Council.
The primary purpose of the Website is to provide at no cost to external parties, information on buses journeys operated by Oxfordshire County Council and our partners for non-commercial purposes. If you want to use any information from this site for commercial use, you must contact Oxfordshire County Council to obtain explicit consent.
As a condition of using the Website to subscribe to data feeds via the provided APIs, you are required to register to create an account.
Use of the Website is governed by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). By accessing the Website and registering to use the services provided by the Website you are agreeing to the Terms. If you do not accept these Terms you should exit the Website immediately and stop using any the provided services.
As a condition of your use of the Website, you agree that you will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms of use.
Oxfordshire County Council may at any time revise these Terms. It is up to you to regularly review the Terms in case there are any changes. Continued use of the Website after a change has been made is to be treated as acceptance of that change by you.
If Oxfordshire County Council fails to insist that you perform any of your obligations under these Terms, or if Oxfordshire County Council does not enforce its rights against you, or if Oxfordshire County Council delays in doing so, that will not mean that Oxfordshire County Council has waived its rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If Oxfordshire County Council does waive a default by you, it will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that it will automatically waive any later default by you.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, any new feature, content, products and services offered shall be subject to these terms and conditions.
You must not:
attempt to gain unauthorised access to, circumvent security, tamper with, hack into, or otherwise disrupt the Website, the server on which the Website is stored or any server, computer, database, router or any other Internet connected device connected to the Website;
misuse the Website by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful;
attack the Website via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack;
use the Website for commercial purposes, without first obtaining our written permission; or
misuse (in the sole opinion of Oxfordshire County Council) or modify the information supplied by the Website such that it provides misinformation to third parties or harms the reputation or business of Oxfordshire County Council or that of its suppliers of third-party data.
By breaching any provision of this paragraph 6, your right to use the Website will cease immediately. Breach of any of the provisions of sub-paragraph 6 (a), (b) or (c) above would also be a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990.
